Giancarlo Castillo
Born in the city of Lima (Peru), Giancarlo is a touring guitarist and producer based in Los Angeles, CA.
Since his arrival in the United States, Giancarlo has had the privilege of performing in festivals such as Governors Ball, Something in The Water, AfroPunk, Summerstage NYC, and prestigious venues such as Radio City Music Hall (NYC) The Apollo Theater, Red Rocks Amphitheater, First Avenue, and national television appearances on TV shows such as BET’s 106&Park and The Late Night Show with James Corden.
Some of the names Giancarlo has performed with include: Wizkid, Mr. Eazi, Quinn XCII, Skizzy Mars, Lauren Sanderson, Domino Saints, and The Voice finalist Kimberly Nichole. to name a few. As a producer/composer, Giancarlo has worked with acts such as Missy Eliiot’s Road To Stardom contest winner Jessica Betts, and Josh Tobias and has written music for LA’s premiere music library Liquid Cinemas. licensing some of his compositions to TV shows such as Late Night with Seth Meyers, The 2021 Emmy Awards and VH1’s Are You The One? and Ru Paul’s Drag Race
