Jenna Paulette has always been somewhat of a walking juxtaposition – a mix of laid-back country casual adopted from her time on the family ranch along the Texas/Oklahoma border, and the big city glam she’s picked up in her travels along the way. Nowadays, she’s blazing her own trail with a “New West” style of country. She throws out conventions for a pedal steel-rooted sensibility that marries the traditional with the contemporary. An unstoppable force, Jenna has shared the stage with stars in the genre including Zac Brown Band, Joe Nichols, and Russell Dickerson, and she’s hitting the road in support of viral sensation Mason Ramsey on his “How’s Ur Girl & How’s Ur Family Pt. 2” tour this fall.
As well, she remains a staple of Song Suffragettes, a weekly woman-only singer-songwriter showcase at Nashville’s Listening Room Cafe. Tapped as a CMT Discovery Artist, Jenna’s music can be heard spinning on Spotify’s New Country Nashville Playlist, Apple Music’s Breaking Country Playlist, Pandora’s Rising Women in Country and Google Play’s Country’s New Crop Playlist. She’s already earned considerable airplay on Radio Disney and its country affiliate and notched more than 350,000+ streams on Spotify. The country starlet’s latest releases, “Wild Like the West” and “Blue Jeans,” precede her forthcoming debut EP, “Modern Cowgirl, Volume 1” releasing September 20, 2019. With producers Brad Hill (Maren Morris, Lucie Silvas, Brett Young) and Lee Holland, who all guided Paulette to sharper-focused storytelling, the EP defines what it means to be a part of the New West brand of cowgirl country in 2019.
