Celebrated for his versatility, innovation, and exceptional musicianship, Seymour has built a distinguished reputation collaborating with Broadway’s leading producers, composers, directors, choreographers, and top recording artists across an expansive range of musical styles.
Seymour’s extensive body of work includes Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of the Temptations (Music Supervisor/Arranger), The Harder They Come (Orchestrator) (earning a Drama Desk nomination for Best Orchestrations), Tony Award-winning Memphis: A New Musical (Music Director), Amazing Grace (Orchestrator) & Carnegie Hall’s A Time Like This: Music For Change (Music Supervisor, Orchestrator & Arranger).
As a composer, Seymour earned a Global Music Award for Best Original Score for Talking with the Taxman About Poetry, has had original works performed by the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, and served as composer for children’s programs Wonder Pets and English Egg. His broadcast and live performance credits include work for Fox, BET, NBC, President Barack Obama’s Inaugural Ball, and performances at iconic venues such as the Apollo Theater, Carnegie Hall, and the Montreux Jazz Festival, touring with some of the top recording artists in the industry.
