Born and raised in Oklahoma City Michael started playing drums at the age of nine. Through his teenage years he spent the majority of his time forming different bands with anyone who would be willing to play with him. At the age of 18 he picked up the bass guitar and found his voice in music. Shortly after that he moved to Chicago and attended Columbia College Chicago and graduated with a bachelors of music in Bass performance. He then spent the next two years traveling in out of Chicago touring with Chicago rock outfit Coaster and Dutch singer songwriter Emil Landman as well as weekly gigging in the city. In 2015 Michael decided to make the move to Los Angeles to continue his career as a bassist. Currently he is on the road with the band Miner and building a name for himself in Los Angeles.
