MIC CHECK: Drummer Extraordinaire and MD Lester Estelle

We’re back with another interview from an Alclair Family member. Lester Estelle, is one of the most respected drummers in the business and he relies on Alclair for his studio and monitor mixes. His studio and live credits include drumming for some of the biggest names in music including Kelly Clarkson, Big & Rich and Pillar, just to name a few. Lester has been a part of the Alclair family and rocking’ our monitors for well over 8 years “on the stage, in the recording studio, and the gym (haha).”

When we asked Lester about what model he uses and what he loves about it he said, “I have a few different models but my absolute favs have been the RSM Quads. They are extremely balanced across all frequencies and somehow the image sounds wider to me which helps my in ear mixes.”

Our goal as a company is to provide a stellar product and experience that will help any user do what they need to do without getting in the way. Recognizing this, Lester said “I’ve used Alclair since 2014 and it’s given me a great reference for dialing in my mixes quicker than other companies I’ve used in the past.”

Not only do we want to provide a great product, but we want the experience of our customers to be as painless and pleasant as possible. When we asked Lester what he would say to someone trying to decide between Alclair and another brand, he said, “Talk to anyone working at Alclair. Aside from me loving how they sound, a big part of why I still use them is because of the relationships I’ve built with the people there.”
