Replacement Cable

In-ear monitor cables, like most cables, will wear out over time. Some folks are harder on them than others (looking at you drummers). But fear not, the cables on your Alclair in-ears are replaceable. They are easy to change out. These two-pin replacement cables are high-quality, and designed to last a long time under normal use.  The replacement cables you receive may look a bit different than the image shown.

How do you know your cable is bad? If you get intermittent sound, static, or the sound goes in and out when you move the cable, that’s a good sign the cable needs to be replaced. If the cable is visibly damaged, it might be time to replace it.

If you experience less sound from your monitors, or one side sounds weaker than the other, that is likely NOT the cable. One thing you can do is switch the cables from left to right. If the problem switches ears, then it could be the cable. Most likely, your monitors will need to be cleaned or we may need to put new tubes in.
